The distinction honors the publishing house\u2019s activity in support of libraries and reading communities, as well as its contribution to the promotion of academic books and written culture. Organized annually by the League of Librarians of the Republic of Moldova and the National Library of the Republic of Moldova, the GALEX Awards reward initiatives, institutions and personalities that support reading, libraries and access to knowledge.<\/p>\n

For the University of Bucharest Publishing House, this award confirms the importance of a mission it has constantly assumed: that of publishing works relevant to research, education and culture and of strengthening the connection between the university environment, libraries and the reading public.<\/p>\n
