The history of a liturgical writing between text and image (AKATHYMN). Dedicated to the beginnings of the Romanian tradition of the Akathist Hymn, the work fills a gap in local research, given that the Romanian history of this text, which occupied a central position in Byzantine theology and which continues to shape Orthodox religious literature and spirituality to this day, was little known before the AKATHYMN project began.<br \/>\nThe book includes the editions of the five oldest Romanian redactions of the Anthem, as well as a Slavonic version produced in Wallachia, all dating from the 17th century.
