POVESTEA CA LUME ȘI LUMEA CA POVESTE
Statutul ficțiunii în romantism și postmodernism
- An aparitie: 2004
- Format: B5
The research whose result we are discussing today has its origins in the dissertation with which the author completed her master’s studies at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest, a dissertation that dealt with the concept of the “fictional world”. The explanation for this loyalty to the theme does not lie in an ecological impulse in relation to the theoretical and critical bibliography, but in the authentic passion with which Maria Elekeș approaches the universe of fiction and assumes the risks of a theme with a pronounced affective component.
[…] It is worth highlighting the gains of a courageous and original approach, first of all the return to the literary text, the launching of new questions, the revealing not only of the points of contact and the approximations of vision or narrative formula between the authors studied, but also of the centrifugal play of images. The comments on Eminescu’s short story Poor Dionis and on Mircea Cărtărescu’s novel Solenoid, remain memorable exercises in the adequacy of theoretical support to the literary text.
