EVALUAREA CALITĂȚII MEDIULUI ÎN ARIILE PROTEJATE. PARCUL NATURAL BUCEGI

After more than four or five decades, the Bucegi Massif returns to the landscape of our geographical publications at the level of a scientific monographic work, clearly anchored at the boundary between the issue of nature conservation and environmental protection, respectively that of the spatial analysis methodology with specific GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and remote sensing tools.
The volume is the fruit of almost a decade of research work, carried out in the office, but especially in the field, in which the author covered for the most part the problems specific to the mountain environment and the management of a protected area recognized as the most frequented in the Romanian Carpathians – the Bucegi Natural Park.
