Călin Vâlsan is currently a Professor of Finance with the Williams School of Business, at Bishop’s University, in Canada, and visiting professor at the University of Bucharest. He earned his undergraduate degree in Commerce from the Academy of Economic Studies, in Bucharest, and his doctorate in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, USA. During his academic career, Dr. Vâlsan has published a variety of research papers and books in the area of corporate finance, corporate governance, behavioral economics, political economy, and post-communist economies.
