This volume contains a selection of papers presented at the first edition of the “Paul Cornea” National Colloquium, organized by the Doctoral School of Letters of the University of Bucharest between May 19–20, 2023.
The 34 papers grouped into 6 sections (Romanian Literature, Comparative Literature, Literary Theory, Linguistics, Library Science and Cultural Studies) reflect the synchronization of Romanian doctoral studies, through thematics, critical discourse and bibliography, with current directions in Europe (and beyond). Today, when there is increasing talk about the crisis of the humanities, reading these studies is encouraging for the prospects of our environment
