This nine-section research presents an outline of the current treatment of Anglicisms in Spanish by the RAE (Spanish Royal Academy of Spanish Language). To this end, the treatment of Anglicisms by the Academy in its various publications has been essentially taken into account: Dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy (DRAE, 2001), Pan-Hispanic Dictionary of Doubts (DPD, 2005), Essential Dictionary of the Spanish Language (ESENCIAL, 2006), New Grammar of the Spanish Language (NGLE, 2009-2011), Spelling of the Spanish Language (OLE, 2010), and Dictionary of the Spanish Language (DLE, 2014-2021). FundéuRAE, which also deals with Anglicisms, has also been taken into consideration, as it is an institution advised by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE).

Pontes Philologici is an international publishing project between several European universities, born from the desire to create a common space for the encounter and exchange of scientific contributions in the field of humanities, with special emphasis on modern philologies. It originally comprised a consortium of five entities from four countries—the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Masaryk University of Brno (Czech Republic), the University of Belgrade (Serbia), and two universities in Romania, the University of Bucharest and the West University of Timisoara—with the prospect of welcoming other interested academic publishers in the future. The main objective of this initiative is to develop a series of monographs relevant not only within the Central European region but also to a broader scientific community, and to give them appropriate international visibility. Each volume in the series will focus on a central theme related to various fields of philological studies in the broadest sense of the term—literature, linguistics, language teaching, history, culture, etc.—and may be co-authored by a single author or structured as a collective work. The publication frequency will be at least one volume per year.
