The volume People, Crises and Solutions in History brings together some of the materials presented at the National Session of Scientific Communications, the 16th edition, organized by the “Dacia” History Students Association and the student circles of the faculty, in partnership with the Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest. The session was built around three major workshops, organized thematically and chronologically. Thus, the Workshop on Ancient History and Archaeology, Cultural History, History of Art and Heritage proposed six papers in this volume, the Workshop on Medieval History and Modern History presented eight articles, and the Workshop on Contemporary History and International Relations contributed four papers.
The theme of the student conference reflected the historiographical concerns of the moment, post-pandemic, the main goal of this initiative being to create an academic framework that would offer interested students the opportunity to develop communications, debates and exchanges of ideas regarding a multitude of historical events and concepts and, of course, to capitalize on their passion for the field of history.
