Paris Pallady is an exhibition essay, an almost random arrangement of works. It is not an exhibition or an expository approach. An exhibition is a discourse, an articulation of arguments – even if they are purely visual – that try to convince an audience of the objective nature of a particular path. This is what happens in the presentation of a lawyer, who wants to demonstrate that things only happened in a certain way, in one direction and with a unique meaning. A curatorial exhibition is also a plea, a form of rhetoric in support of a theory on art, on an artist, on a period.
